A stroll through the city where I was born, Wrocław in south-western Poland, with a multicultural history dating back to the Middle Ages and a modern renaissance that has seen it grow and prosper since 1990.

The other side of river, closest to Plac Grunwaldzki, is now the home of Wrocław's Technical University. On this Sunday morning in late June, the campus is deserted.
