A stroll through the city where I was born, Wrocław in south-western Poland, with a multicultural history dating back to the Middle Ages and a modern renaissance that has seen it grow and prosper since 1990.

Like other cities in Europe, Wrocław is promoting cycling, with many new bike paths and other infrastructure having been built during the past few years. On the Technical University campus there is a free bicycle repair station, the most elaborate of its kind I have seen anywhere.
