A stroll through Warsaw

A record of my visit to Poland's capital in June 2018, focusing on the historical aspects of the city, often painful to contemplate. But today's Warsaw is also a reborn, modern, European city.

POLIN--Museum of the History of Polish Jews. Opened in 2005, it documents the 1000-year history of this community which today is a shadow of its former self, but it survives. The stunning building was designed by Finnish firm Lahdelm & Mahlamäki.
