A record of my visit to Poland's capital in June 2018, focusing on the historical aspects of the city, often painful to contemplate. But today's Warsaw is also a reborn, modern, European city.

A splash of colour amid the drabness. Much of Warsaw has been modernised and upgraded, but old ugly apartment blocks like this one can still be seen in many places.
