Wrocław, late summer

A few days spent in Wrocław, the city in south-western Poland where I was born.

1-5 September 2019

The White Stork synagogue was named after a bar that stood on this spot prior to the construction of this building in 1829 in the then German city of Breslau. The interior was severely damaged during the Krystallnacht in 1938 and was in various stages of disrepair for much of the postwar period. It was rebuilt in the 1990s and was re-dedicated in 2010.

Did you like it? Or hate it? Let me know!
