Wrocław, late summer

A few days spent in Wrocław, the city in south-western Poland where I was born.

1-5 September 2019

Changing identities of the city. Many Wrocław streets have changed name three times in the past 75 years: from German to Polish in 1945, and then again after 1989, when Communist-era names such as 1 May Square were replaced with names reflecting the new Poland, such as John Paul II Square.

Did you like it? Or hate it? Let me know!
