A stroll through the city where I was born, Wrocław in south-western Poland, with a multicultural history dating back to the Middle Ages and a modern renaissance that has seen it grow and prosper since 1990.

One of the many churches on Ostów Tumski, St Giles' Church. It is the oldest church on the island, having been built in the first half of the 13th century. Of course it has been renovated following fires in the 18th century and some damage during World War II but it is basically still the original structure.
