A stroll through the city where I was born, Wrocław in south-western Poland, with a multicultural history dating back to the Middle Ages and a modern renaissance that has seen it grow and prosper since 1990.

The changing city. On the right a new apartment building, on the left the kind of drab ruin that was characteristic of Wrocław in the 1960s. Soon it too will be gone, a good thing.
