A stroll through Warsaw

A record of my visit to Poland's capital in June 2018, focusing on the historical aspects of the city, often painful to contemplate. But today's Warsaw is also a reborn, modern, European city.

20-22 June 2018

Warsaw oozes history, especially this year, since it is the 100th anniversary of the re-establishment of the Polish state after WW I, following 123 years of partition of Poland between Russia, Austria-Hungary and Prussia. There are exhibitions everywhere, including this one on the history of the Polish Socialist Party.
