Łazienki Park, a wonderful oasis in the middle of Warsaw, built by Poland's last king Stanisław August Poniatowski in the 1760s. He was otherwise quite inept as a ruler, and beginning in the 1770s, Poland was gobbled up by Russia, Prussia and Austria-Hungary and ceased to exist in 1795.
