A visit to Warsaw

A few days spent in Poland's capital, completely destroyed during World War II, drab and grey during the following decades of Communist rule, now a vibrant European city of 1.7 million people.

Zakątek Złotej Kaczki (the Corner of the Golden Duck), Tamka Street. A reference to an old Polish legend involving a golden duck, a bag of gold coins and a poor boy.
