Warsaw part 2

The week after my four-day trip to Warsaw I had to return there on business, just for one night. It gave me the opportunity to explore some places that I had missed during the trip at the end of June.
Praga, monument to the Soviet soldiers who liberated Warsaw in 1945. It must be said, however, that many Poles regard the event as less a liberation and more simply passing from the hands of one occupier to another. While the monument has not been defaced, there are none of the flowers or candles so common at other Warsaw memorials.
