A stroll around Bratislava

My first visit to Slovakia's capital city, an interesting blend of old and new, reflecting the changes since 1989.

10-12 September 2019

Peace Fountain, Freedom Square. Built by the Communists in 1980 on what was then Klement Gottwald Square, named after the first Communist leader of Czechoslovakia after 1945. It was one of the city's first squares to be renamed after the revolution in 1989.

Did you like it? Or hate it? Let me know!
