A couple of days in Bordeaux

I attended a conference at the University of Bordeaux in early September, giving me the opportunity to explore the city during a free afternoon, the lunch breaks and the evenings. A very impressive city; besides being the capital of the world's most famous wine region it has a lot of interesting architecture, art and a wonderful location on the Garonne river.
