Three days in Andalucía

Between Christmas and New Year I drove down to Andalucía, my favourite region of Spain. The trip included an emotional return to Seville, a city I love and a place I last visited with my father, 3 weeks before he died in 2004.
The town of Portellano is the main ski resort in Sierra Nevada. A week earlier lots of snow had fallen, but by now the thaw was in full swing and the pistes were closed. The ski instructors had nothing to do.
