Aarhus - the European Capital of Culture 2017

A visit to my hometown during Aarhus Festuge (Aarhus Festival Week), an annual celebration of art and much else, bigger and better this year because of the city's status as a European Capital of Culture.

Dokk1, a very modern building in hte harbour, inaugurated a couple of years ago. It is the new home of the city's public library and other institutions.
